Ōtākou Health Limited (OHL) is a charity founded in 2015, with a vision to bring free and affordable health and social services to Dunedin.

OHL created Te Kāika, a village of integrated services dedicated to a holistic approach on improving and maintaining whānau wellbeing.

Located in the heart of the Caversham community in Dunedin,  Te Kāika is built on partnership which currently delivers integrated health, social, employment, education and whānau services.

Our mission of He Korowai Manaaki – A cloak of care and support provides our patients and clients with access to essential services in a safe community environment that encourages independence and rakatirataka. Whānau at Te Kāika will recieve appropriate wrap around support to ensure the maintenance of whānau wellbeing.

Te Kāika is responsive to the Dunedin and wider Otago region with support from our local Māori, Pasifika, low-income and Refugee communities.
